Table of Contents
Welcome to 631 Moving and Delivery, LLC. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By engaging with our transportation, delivery, or warehousing solutions, you agree to comply with this logistics agreement.
1. Quotes and Bookings
All moving terms in Brooklyn and regional logistics quotes provided by 631 Moving and Delivery, LLC are based on the information provided by the customer. Final pricing is subject to change if the actual inventory or scope of work differs significantly from the initial consultation. Bookings are only considered confirmed upon receipt of a signed transportation contract and, where applicable, a security deposit.
2. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due according to the schedule specified in your specific service agreement. We accept major credit cards, certified checks, and electronic bank transfers. For freight and warehousing services, net terms may be established following a credit review process.
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change. However, as a professional transport provider, we allocate resources well in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit or 25% of the estimated service cost.
4. Customer's Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items are properly packed (unless packing services are booked), access points are clear of obstructions, and all delivery policy NYC regulations regarding parking permits or COIs (Certificate of Insurance) for specific buildings are addressed prior to our arrival.
5. Our Liability
In accordance with Brooklyn freight terms and New York State law, our standard liability for loss or damage is limited to $0.60 per pound per article. We strongly encourage customers to discuss additional valuation coverage options for high-value items prior to transit start.
6. Claims for Loss or Damage
Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 15 days of the delivery date. Supporting documentation, including photographs and original inventory sheets, must be provided to process the claim through our logistics agreement protocols.
7. Warehousing Terms
Items stored in our Brooklyn facility are subject to monthly storage fees. 631 Moving and Delivery, LLC reserves the right to exercise a lien on goods for unpaid storage charges as permitted by New York State warehouseman law.
